ISLAMABAD: PM Nawaz Sharif called on President Mamnoon Hussain in President House here at Tuesday. Both dignitaries exchanged views over the national issues.
As per details, PM Nawaz Sharif took in confidence to the President Mamnoon over LNG agreement and recent visit of Qatar. Both dignitaries expressed their satisfaction over the ongoing operation zarb-e-Azab and lauded the role of security forces in the elimination of terrorism, paying tribute to the martyred in war against terrorism.
PM Nawaz and President Mamnoon also expressed their satisfaction over the CPEC and power projects in Pakistan. The meeting lasted an hour.
Law and order situation of the country particularly in Karachi, was also came under discussion and both lauded the role of Rangers in restoring peace in Karachi adding that Karachi operation will continue till the end of last terrorist.
