Supreme Court Justice Sardar Tariq Masood recused himself from hearing thechamber appeals pertaining to the cipher matter.
The Supreme Court heard the chamber appeals for cipher investigationinvolving an alleged international plot to topple the Imran Khangovernment.
As the hearing started, Justice Masood recused himself from hearing thecase sending the appeals back to Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar AtaBandial. He requested the CJP to appoint another judge who could hear theseappeals.
Petitions seeking a probe into the cipher matter were filed in the SupremeCourt but the registrar office returned these applications after raisingobjections to them.
