President Mamnoon Hussain has emphasised the need for modernizing the education system keeping in view the national objectives.
He was addressing the national education conference in Islamabad on Tuesday.
The President said there is a need of an education system under which the educated youth can serve the people with their best capabilities.
He said under the Prime Minister’s direction a committee was formed headed by Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training Baligh-ur-Rehman for preparing a uniform curriculum.
He pointed out that education experts from the four provinces are included in the Committee.
Mamnoon Hussain further said there is a need for a strong education system for bright future of the youth and the country.
He stressed that education and examination systems should be reviewed and improved.
