In Lahore, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) has issued an order for the release of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist Sanam Javed Khan and several other party leaders involved in the Jinnah House attack case, as reported by ARY News.
ATC judge Arshad Javed announced the verdict, granting bail to nine suspects linked to the Jinnah House attack case. The court has approved the bail requests submitted by PTI activist Sanam Javed Khan, along with Robina Jameel, Afshan Tariq, Ashma Shuja, Shah Bano, Faisal Akhtar, Qasim, Ali Hasan, and Hussain Qadri.
Bail has been granted against surety bonds worth Rs 0.1 million each, and the court has ordered the release of these nine PTI leaders. Previously, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist Sanam Javed Khan and 12 other women leaders were placed in physical remand in connection with the Jinnah House attack case.
Former PTI MNA Aliya Hamza and women activists, including Khadija Shah, Sanam Javed Khan, and others, were also placed on a five-day physical remand in the same case. The court specified that PTI women would remain in police custody from sunrise to sunset for questioning and would be transferred to judicial custody after sunset.
