London: Britain will put aside another £3.0 billion ($4.0 billion, 3.4 billion euros) for preparations towards the nation's looming exit from the European Union, finance minister Philip Hammond revealed Wednesday in his budget.
"We have already invested almost £700 million in Brexit preparations -- and today I am setting aside over the next two years another £3.0 billion and I stand ready to allocate further sums if and when needed," Hammond told lawmakers.
