ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court Tuesday granted pre-arrest bail to former Inspector General Police of Sindh Ghulam Haider Jamali till June 7.
A three-member bench headed by Justice Manzoor Ahmed Malik granted bail to the accused against surety bonds of Rs 500,000 after listening to the arguments placed by Latif Khosa, counsel for the former IGP.
The bench adjourned the case till Jun 7, directing Jamali to appear on next date of hearing.
It may added that the former IGP Sindh is facing a case of alleged illegal appointments of police constables during his tenure. APP/AFP
