LAHORE: 76th Pakistan Day festivities is being celebrated today across Pakistan with zest and zeal. The beginning of the day was started with 31 gun salute in federal capital and 21 gun salute in provincial capitals.
As per details, national flag has been hoisted atop on all the government buildings. Special prayers have been offered in mosques for the prosperity and integrity of Pakistan.
The mega event of the Pakistan Day was held here at Shakarparian parade ground where troops of Armed Forces exhibited their professional skills. President Mamnoon, PM Nawaz, Federal Ministers, Chiefs of Armed Forces participated in mega event of Pakistan Day.
A large number of people also gathered in Shakarparian Parade ground to witness the traditional military parade.
Strict security arrangements have been made by LEAs in Shakarparian Ground to avoid unpleasant situation while mobile phone service has been suspended by government till 3 pm in Islamabad.
Fly-past have been presented by the fighter jets of PAF, Pak Navy and helicopters of the Army Aviation in Pakistan Day Parade.
