KARACHI: Guard Changing ceremonies were held at Quaid and Iqbal Mausoleum to mark Pakistan Day. A floral of wreath was laid at Quaid tomb by Sindh CM Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Governor Ishrat ul Ibad.
As per details, Bilawal Bhutto, Sharmila Farooqi and other PPP senior leaders were also present at the occasion to witness Change of Guards ceremony.
They offered Fateha at Mizar-e-Quaid and paid rich tribute to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
On the other hand, a dignified Change of Guards ceremony was held at Allama Iqbal’s mausoleum while Special Base Commander Air Commodore Salman Mahboob was chief the guest in the ceremony.
He laid floral wreath on Iqbal’s tomb and offered Fateha. A smartly turned out contingent of Pak Navy took the responsibility of Guards at Mizar-e-Iqbal.
A large number of people including political and civil society members were present at Mizar-e-Iqbal to witness Change of Guards ceremony.
