Sri Lankan team attack case : ATC indicts six terrorists

LAHORE: (APP) An anti-terrorism court on Wednesday indicted six accused in Sri Lankan team attack case.

According to Prosecution sources, ATC-II Judge Chuadhary Muhammad Azam conducted the case proceedings at Kot Lakhpat Jail here.

During the proceedings, the judge indicted the six accused in Sri Lankan team attack case.

However, the accused pleaded not guilty and contended to defend the charges. To which, the judge summoned prosecution witnesses for June 30 while adjourning the further hearing.

It is pertinent to mention here that three accused, including Zubair, Abdul Wahab and Adnan, were imprisoned at the jail whereas Obaidullah, Javed and Ibrahim were on bail.

The court had already declared Mohsin Rasheed and Abdul Rahman as absconder.

The accused had attacked the Sri Lankan team which was on a visit to the country in 2009.
