Significant increase in the prices of Petroleum products on cards

Islamabad: Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA) has requested NationalElectric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) to increase electricity priceRs by 1.52 per unit.

The application has stated that the price rise be considered fueladjustment for October and November by Rs. 0.95 and Rs. 0.57 respectively.

NEPRA has added that both petitions will be heard on December 30 inIslamabad.
