ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Foreign Office responds over the AfghanistanPresidential election results.

Pakistan supports Afghanistan’s democratic process and acknowledges thatcompletion of Afghan presidential elections is a crucial step for politicalstability of Afghanistan and South Asian region.

Foreign Office, in a statement, welcomed the preliminary results of AfghanPresidential elections held in September this year.
