ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Saturday strongly condemned and categoricallyrejected recent remarks by Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh regardingthe Pakistani province of Sindh, describing them as misleading, baselessand reflective of a dangerous revisionist mindset.
The Foreign Office said such provocative statements undermined regionalpeace and stability and revealed India’s persistent hegemonic designs overneighbouring territories. It warned that attempts to distort historicalfacts would not alter ground realities.
The spokesperson emphasised that Sindh was an integral and inalienable partof Pakistan, and its people had repeatedly demonstrated unwaveringcommitment to the country through democratic expression and sacrifice.
Pakistan urged the international community to take notice of India’sbelligerent rhetoric that threatened peace in South Asia and violatedprinciples of sovereign equality enshrined in the United Nations Charter.
Islamabad reaffirmed its resolve to defend every inch of its territoryagainst any aggression and called upon New Delhi to refrain fromirresponsible statements that could escalate tensions between the twonuclear-armed neighbours.
