The Supreme Court on Tuesday dismissed an appeal against thedisqualification of PML-N MPA Muhammad Kashif Mehmood.

The apex court upheld the disqualification decision of Member PunjabAssembly from Bahawal Nagar, Kashif Mehmood. The Lahore High Court haddisqualified him in a fake degree case. The MPA resorted to the SupremeCourt and submitted his appeal against the LHC verdict.

The Election Commission of Pakistan had de-notified the Member PunjabAssembly in the bogus educational certificate case.

Kashif Mehmood was elected as an MPA from PP 241, Chishtian.
