The Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet has recommended theallocation of six billion rupees funds for Balkasar -Mianwali road andMianwali-Muzaffargarh road projects.
The ECC, which met with Minister for Economic Affairs Umar Ayub in thechair in Islamabad, approved the proposal scrapping of wheat import tenderover higher prices.
The meeting also recommended the summary presented by Ministry of Commercefor elimination/reduction of tariffs on various items currently beingimported from Afghanistan as goodwill gesture.
