China has successfully launched its second Earth-observation satellite’Gaofen’ on Tuesday from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center.
It will operate in a solar synchronous orbit and be used for remote sensingand Earth observation.
The satellite will improve the monitoring capabilities of marine shipobservations.
