ISLAMABAD – Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors have condemnedthe withdrawal of the United States from the Iran nuclear deal, also knownas the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), IRNA said on Friday.
Thirty members of the IAEA Board of Governors gave lectures on verificationof Iran’s commitment to its obligations.
Most of the IAEA Board of Governors stressed importance of saving theIranian nuclear deal and criticized the US’ pull out from the multilateralagreement.
The IAEA members lauded Iran cooperation with the international body andurged all sides to stick to their obligation.
The US and its allies tried to affect the IAEA meeting by their politicallymotivated lectures but to no avail, IRNA reported.
Some IAEA members, including Venezuela, protested the politically motivatedlectures that were not on the subject. – APP
