KARACHI – Security forces foiled a terrorist attack on Chinese Consulate inKarachi on Friday morning killing three terrorists while two Policepersonnel also embraced martyrdom.

According to the police sources all the staff of Chinese Consulate remainedsafe in the incident.

The security of Chinese Consulate and other sensitive installations hasbeen tightened and the situation is now under control.

Clearance operation is underway.

Talking to our Karachi correspondent Altaf Pirzado on phone SSP southKarachi Pir Mohammad Shah said terrorists who fired at Chinese Consulatehas been engaged by police and their effort to enter into the consulate hasbeen foiled.

Meanwhile, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail has also taken notice of theincident and has sought a report from IG Sindh in this regard.
