MOSCOW Russia has criticized Washington’s plans to quit arms controltreaties with various world bodies.

In an interview, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said the US plansto withdraw from existing arms control agreements, includingIntermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty, are shortsighted and dangerous.
