ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan stated that in the first three monthsof Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) government, Pakistan Railways has earnedan extra Rs. 1.5 billion in profit.
He gave these numbers while addressing the inaugural ceremony of four moretrains on Friday.
He said the addition of new trains to the system was a commendable effortfrom Minister of Railways Shaikh Rasheed because the train is a commute foronly ordinary people.
He applauded the Minister’s untiring efforts for the betterment of Railwayand said it was because of him that for the first time, the railway trackswere being set up and repaired to run more trains and facilitate theaverage person in the country.——————————
