ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has revealed the reason behind theterrorist attack on Chinese consulate in Karachi.
PM termed the attack on the Chinese Consulate in Karachi as a reactionagainst the trade agreements between Pakistan and China, adding that theterrorists will be crushed.
The premier took to Twitter and condemned the attack on the consulate. “Theattack was intended to scare Chinese investors and undermine [China-Pakistan Economic Corridor] CPEC. These terrorists will notsucceed,” he wrote.

The PM has ordered an inquiry into the attack and has desired that elementsbehind this incident must be unearthed, read the statement issued by the PMoffice.
“Such incidents will never be able to undermine Pak-China relationship.Neighboring China is Pakistan’s closest ally, ploughing billions of dollarsin loans and infrastructure investments into the South Asian nation as partof Beijing’s vast Belt and Road initiative,” the statement further reads.
