*MULTAN: General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) has warneddisgruntled elements in the country.*
*COAS on Friday said, “Some elements are trying to pull the country backinto confrontation,” Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) reported.*
According to details, the COAS visited Multan Garrison to observe thetraining demonstration on combat readiness by an Armour Formation of thestrike corps.

While speaking to military officers, he stated that the state shall notallow any element to create a confrontational environment “whether in thename of religion, ethnicity or any other pretext.”The COAS also interacted with officers of Multan Garrison and said thatafter kinetic operations, “we are now into the phase of stabilityoperations.”“War against terrorism and militancy is not over yet. Besideskinetic efforts we have to take on measures to address the root causeswhile staying cognisant of inimical forces and foreign hostile agendas,” heremarked.
