ISLAMABAD – The government has decided to allow the proposed Azadi March,if it takes place within the ambit of law and the Constitution.
The decision to this effect was taken at a meeting between Prime MinisterImran Khan and government’s negotiating team led by Defence Minister PervezKhattak in Islamabad on Wednesday.
It was decided that the Government, with its firm belief in upholdingdemocratic ideals, would allow the proposed Azadi March, if it takes placewithin the ambit of law and the Constitution as interpreted in thedecisions of the Supreme Court and the Islamabad High Court.
