Chairman PCB Zaka Ashraf has said that Captain Babar Azam was recommendedthat considering the issues with spin bowler Shadab Khan’s form in theleague, it would be appropriate not to include him in the World Cup squad.
In a media conversation, Chaudhry Zakaa Ashraf stated that Captain BabarAzam expressed his desire to take Shadab Khan to the World Cup as thevice-captain of the team.
However, according to Chaudhry Zakaa Ashraf, the captain has assured thatif Shadab Khan does not perform well in the World Cup, he will be droppedfrom the final lineup.
