In Lahore, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has made plans toorganize rallies aimed at mobilizing party workers in anticipation offormer Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s expected return to Pakistan nextmonth, according to sources cited by ARY News.
These sources have revealed that the PML-N intends to hold seven ralliesin different constituencies within Lahore prior to Nawaz Sharif’s return toPakistan. The rallies will take place in NA-123, NA-124, NA-125, NA-127,NA-128, NA-128, and NA-136, all scheduled between October 1 and 8. PML-NChief Organiser Maryam Nawaz is slated to address these rallies.
Former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif confirmed that there had been nochanges to his brother Nawaz Sharif’s return plan, reaffirming that NawazSharif is scheduled to arrive in Pakistan on October 21.
Shehbaz Sharif briefly returned to London from Pakistan and then quicklywent back to meet with Nawaz Sharif, which led to speculation aboutpotential alterations to the travel plans. Sources have revealed that aconsultation meeting involving prominent PML-N members, including MaryamNawaz, Ishaq Dar, Abid Sher Ali, Mian Javed Latif, Talal Chaudhry, BurjeesTahir, and Sheikh Rohail Asghar, took place in London.
