Former Pakistan fast bowler Muhammad Asif has stated that he was the onewho selected Babar Azam during trials.
According to media reports, Muhammad Asif revealed, “I selected Babar Azamduring trials after facing just 2 deliveries. You can ask his father aboutit; I picked Babar in the ZTBL trials.”
Furthermore, he mentioned that Babar Azam is one of the best batsmen in thecountry, but he struggles with power play where the pressure mounts on himagainst Muhammad Rizwan.
He stated, “Even today, in T20 cricket, I can get Babar Azam to bowl amaiden over if you give him good deliveries.”
