ISLAMABAD – Indian skipper Virat Kohli gets a stern warning over byInternational Cricket Council.
Virat Kohli has been warned by the International Cricket Council (ICC) andhanded one demerit point for inappropriate physical contact with a playerduring the third T20I against South Africalink,NDTV has reported.
Virat Kohli had made physical contact with South African bowler BeuranHendricks while taking a run in the fifth over of India’s innings.
According to a release from ICC, Virat Kohli admitted the offence andaccepted the sanction proposed by match referee Richie Richardson of theEmirates ICC Elite Panel of Match Referee.

“Virat Kohlilinkwasfound to have breached Article 2.12 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Playersand Player Support Personnel, which relates to “Inappropriate physicalcontact with a Player, Player Support Personnel, Umpire, Match Referee orany other person during an International Match,” ICC said in a mediarelease.
