*KARACHI – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has nominated a surprise namefor the slot of the PTI provincial president in Simdh. *

*PTI leader and former Sindh governor Mumtaz Bhutto’s son Ameer Bux Bhuttohas been appointed as the party’s new president for Sindh. *

PTI chairman Imran Khan gave the go-ahead to Mr Bhutto’s appointment as theparty’s Sindh chapter president.

PTI MPA Haleem Adil Sheikh has been appointed as the party’s secretarygeneral Sindh, while Khurram Sher Zaman as Karachi president.

A day earlier, leader of the opposition in the Sindh Assembly FirdousShamim Naqvi stepped down as president of the PTI Karachi chapter.
