PM Imran Khan breaks silence over Indian Military Chief threats to Pakistan

LAHORE – Prime Minister Imran Khan has responded back to the threats posedby the Indian Army Chief General Bipin Rawat.

Khan warned Indian civilian and military brass against hurling threats atPakistan.

Khan was addressing ceremony here in Lahore today.

Responding to reckless statements of Indian Army Chief Gen Bipin, Khanreiterated that Pakistan’s desire for peace should not be construed forweakness.

“We will not take pressure of anyone. Indian govt should drop its arrogantattitude. Normalizing of ties is in greater interest of both nations”, Khanwas quoted as saying.

Khan added poverty would be eliminated from Indo-Pak subcontinent if tiesbetween arch-rivals switch back to normal
