DUBAI – Indian bookies have become active in the Asia Cup 2018

Indian bookies have approached Afghan opener and wicket keeper MohammadShahzad and allegedly offered him money to perform poorly in ongoing AsiaCup 2018.

Sources told that the cricketer has reported the issue to InternationalCricket Council (ICC) Anti-Corruption Unit after which an alert has beenissued to all the teams.

On the other hand, Shahzad has also recorded his statement in this regard.

It is to be mentioned here that Afghanistan are all set to take onBangladesh in Super Four round in Abu Dhabi today while India will facePakistan in Dubai.
