NEW DELHI – Indian Army Chief General Bipin Rawat has come with anotherirresponsible statement against Pakistan.
He has backed Modi-led BJP govt’s decision of declining Pakistan’s offer toinitiate dialogue.
Gen Bipin once again rehashed the old mantra that terrorism and talks can’tgo hand in hand.
“The decision of Modi’s govt is legitimate. Pakistan must take such aninitiative which coerces India into contemplating that terrorism is notbeing sponsored”, Indian army chief was quoted as saying.
He went on to say that current atmosphere isn’t suitable for Pak-Indiadialogue.
Earlier Saturday, Gen Bipin had threatened to take limited military actionagainst Pakistan Army saying it is time to give it back to them in the sameleaving aside the kind of barbarism they had resorted to.
According to Indian media reports, Rawat while making hollow claims saidthat it is important for the neighbouring country to also feel the pain andit needs to understand at the same time that it needs to curb the terrorismmenace.
