Major RAW Terror Network Busted in Karachi; Safe Houses Uncovered

*Karachi, August 23, 2025* — Sindh Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) hasdismantled a major network of India’s intelligence agency RAW in Karachi,exposing safe houses being used by terrorists in the city.

Addressing a press conference in Karachi, Additional IG CTD Sindh, AzaadKhan, revealed that the investigation began after the murder of a45-year-old man from Badin on May 18, 2025. Following leads, four suspectswere arrested on July 8, leading to the unearthing of the broader network.

According to AIG Khan, CCTV footage and eyewitness accounts confirmed theinvolvement of three suspects in the killing. Two were arrested, and themurder weapon along with the motorcycle used in the crime were recovered.Indian Agent Behind Plot

Investigations revealed that the assassination was orchestrated by *SanjaySanjeev Kumar alias “Fauji”*, an Indian RAW operative residing in a Gulfstate. He had recruited Pakistani nationals, including a man fromSheikhupura named Salman, to execute the plan.

Salman reportedly formed a gang comprising Umair, Sajjad, Ubaid, andShakeel. Several members, including Umair Asghar, Sajjad, Ubaid, Shakeel,Arsalan, and Talha Umair, have been arrested. However, Salman fled to Nepalafter the incident.Financial & Terror Links

CTD has registered a case under terrorism financing after uncovering strongevidence linking the suspects with RAW’s facilitation. The arrested menwere apprehended through technical surveillance. Authorities recovered a9mm pistol, a .30-bore pistol, mobile phones, and a motorcycle.

AIG Khan added that the investigation has traced financial transactions,recoveries, and communications proving RAW’s direct involvement. Heconfirmed that the outlawed group also provided facilitation for theoperation.RAW’s Role & Celebration in India

The CTD chief disclosed that RAW spent a large sum of money on theoperation, which was remotely handled by Sanjay from abroad. Shockingly,Indian media celebrated the killing, reflecting direct state sponsorship.

“Such acts of terrorism are state-sponsored terrorism,” AIG Khan declared,adding that Pakistan will raise the matter at every forum. He confirmedthat investigations are ongoing, and more arrests are expected.
