ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has summoned second federal cabinetmeeting tomorrow.

The federal cabinet will approve annulation of Ministry of CapitalAdministration and Development (CAD) and will recommend puttinginstitutions under it in Cabinet division, informed sources.

The Ministry of CAD was introduced during the tenure of Pakistan Peoples’Party government headed by Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani. As many as422 educational institutes, hospitals in the federal territory and CapitalDevelopment Authority are under the ministry.

The institutions would now be headed by Advisor Parliamentary Affairs BabarAwan. The federal cabinet ministers are advised to ensure their presence inthe meeting tomorrow.

The premier will be briefed by Finance Ministry officials over the economicissues of the country and is expected to take briefings from the ministryofficials.
