*ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar on Sunday refused totake suo moto notice on Islamabad High Court Justice Shaukat AzizSiddiqui’s allegation that “certain institutions are meddling in judicialwork”.*
Saqib said injustice would not be done with anybody and justice would beserved to Justice Siddiqui. This he said while hearing a plea requestinghim to take suo moto notice of Shaukat Siddiqui’s remarks.
The chief justice told the petitioner that he could file petition in thisregard if he wanted so, but he would not take suo moto notice on the issue.
“Notice has already been taken on this issue,” he added.
He assured the complainant that nothing wrong was happening against thecountry and by the grace of God, nothing wrong could happen until thepotent judiciary existed.
