ISLAMABAD – UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres will award DagHammarskjold Medal at a ceremony in New York tomorrow to 119 military,police and civilian peacekeepers, including a Pakistani, who lost theirlives in the year 2018 and early 2019.
The ceremony is being held to mark the annual International Day ofPeacekeepers.
Among the fallen peacekeepers to be honoured is Pakistan’s Naik MuhammadNaeem Raza, who served with the UN Organization Stabilization Mission inthe Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO).
