*With an aim to prevent the weaponisation of outer space, Pakistan andRussia signed on Wednesday a joint statement on ‘No First Placement ofWeapons in Outer Space’.*
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and his Russian counterpart SergeyLavrov signed the statement, according to Foreign Office Spokesperson DrMuhammad Faisal.
