WASHINGTON – United States has imposed new sanctions against officials ofIran’s Revolutionary Guard for allegedly providing ballisticmissile-related expertise to armed Houthi rebels in Yemen.
The US Department of Treasury said, in a statement, that The United Stateswill not tolerate Iranian support for Houthi rebels who are attacking SaudiArabia.
The US said units of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) supportedefforts to improve the Houthis’ ballistic missile capabilities .
