Kyiv: One person has been killed while two others sustained injuries aftera Ukrainian AN-26 transport plane crashed during a “technical flight” inthe Zaporizhzhia region of southern Ukraine on Friday, local authoritiessaid.
The Zaporizhzhia regional administration said that, according topreliminary and unconfirmed information, the plane hit an electricity poleand the engine caught fire.
The Zaporizhzhia region has been subjected to numerous attacks from Russianforces since the beginning of the invasion on February 24.
