ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan will conducta press conference today (Saturday) after he chaired an importantconsultative meeting with the leadership.
As per sources, the meeting was called to discuss the political situationin the country and to further plan strategies.
PTI leadership including Asad Qaiser, Asad Umar, Pervez Khattak, SheikhRashid, Fawad Chaudhry, Babar Awan, Ali Amin Gandapur, Omar Ayub and othersattended the meeting.
The press release issued by the National Security Committee (NSC) also cameunder discussion during the joint session.
Strategies for holding next general elections as soon as possible were alsodiscussed along with the issue of acceptance of resignation by NA speakerRaja Pervaiz Ashraf.
