Judge of the Supreme Court link,Justice Qazi Faiz Isa has expressed his reservations over the formation ofa larger bench link which will hear thepresidentialreference link that seeksinterpretation of Article 63-A, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to details, Justice Isa on Wednesday wrote a letterlink to Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar AtaBandial in which he expressed his reservations over the formation of thelarger bench link. He raised some questions.
Justice Isa objected that since the entire nation’s eyes were on thepresidentialreference link, but noconsultation was held with the senior judges of the apex court beforeformation of the bench link. Moreover, thesenior judges have been ignored and they have not been made part of thebench link, the epistle read.
It further said that rules were not followed and judges who were on the4th, 8th and 13th number in the seniority list were included in the largerbench link. Where the legal andconstitutional affairs are involved, senior judges are be included in thebench link, the letterlink said.
Justice Isa sent the copy of the letter link tothe attorney general of Pakistan, Supreme Courtlink Bar Association president, SCjudges and advocate generals of all provinces.
