*KARACHI: The Pakistan International Airline (PIA) has approved a newpolicy for ground jobs of cabin crew.*
PIA Chief Executive Officer Air Marshal Arshad Malik has given approval forthe new policy. The policy would be applicable for permanent andcontractual employees, read the notification issued in this regard.
Application could only be submitted for ground service on completion of 10years of service.
The airline management would itself decide to appoint cabin crew in anydepartment.

Following approval of the management for ground job, the employee would notbe allowed for flight service.
“Employees will be bound to perform the duty and shift assigned to them onground service,” said the notification.
