Malaysian PM Mahathir Mohamad takes special interest in JF 17 fighter jet, gets briefing by top officials

RAWALPINDI – Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, who was on athree-day visit to Pakistan, departed for his homeland on Saturday.

Ahead of his departure, Malaysian PM inspected the JF-17 Thunder fighterjet at Nur Khan Airbase.

The Malaysian premier was briefed on the JF-17 Thunder fighter jet at theNur Khan Airbase. Prime Minister Imran Khan was also accompanying theMalaysian premier at the airport.

Earlier during the day, the Malaysian prime minister attended the PakistanDay parade in Islamabad as the guest of honour.

On Friday, Mahathir Mohamad was conferred the highest civil awardNishan-e-Pakistan at an impressive investiture ceremony held at thePresident House in Islamabad.
