ISLAMABAD – The head of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) Maulana FazlurRehman predicted on Monday that Yousaf Raza Gillani will be the next Senatechairman.
In his media talk after a meeting with the delegation of Pakistan People’sParty (PPP) at his residence, Maulana Fazlur Rehman claimed that as ajoint candidate of PDM, Yousaf Raza Gillani will be next Senate chairman.
He stated that they will give tough time to the ruling party and will winSenate elections if there was no interference or meddling of any otherexternal forces in the election process.
Fazl stated that there was desperation in quarters of the government sinceYousaf Raza Gillani was fielded as a joint candidate of PDM for chairmanpost.
