Islamabad – Law Minister Farogh Naseem on Saturday said we would not letanyone spy on judiciary and judges. He said we are standing with thejudiciary.

He further said some lawyers are doing politics. Farogh Naseem opined I ampart of bar council and have issued my opinion on matters related toattorney general of Pakistan.

Earlier,the Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) has called upon Prime Minister ImranKhan to expel Federal Law Minister Farogh Naseem from the cabinet afterformer Attorney General of Pakistan Anwar Mansoor Khan said Naseem wasaware of his comments against judges.

Bar appreciated government’s move to remove AGP from his post. On the otherside, law minister Farogh Naseem said that the federal government hadnothing to do with the remarks that had been made in court by the formerattorney general.

Anwar Mansoor Khan was asked to resign after his controversial statement inthe Supreme Court, Law Minister Farogh Naseem and Special Assistant to thePrime Minister on Accountability Shahzad Akbar said.

On Thursday, Mr Anwar submitted his resignation to President Arif Alvi.
