ISLAMABAD – A South Korean company has expressed keen interest to set upLEDs and solar cells’ manufacturing plants in Pakistan.
Head, Overseas Business Division, Line Tech Inc, South Korea Dr. Won HoJung visited Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry and exchanged viewsto make investment in Pakistan to manufacture various products includingLEDs, solar cells, machine tools, vacuum products and others. Dr Won saidin the first phase, his Company was looking for partners in Pakistan tointroduce its products in Pakistani market and at later stage it wasplanning to setup a factory for manufacturing activities with transfer oftechnology from South Korea.
Dr. Won Ho Jung said that his company is also interested in waterpurification and water treatment plants in Pakistan as the country ahs apotential market for business and investment.
