ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and China held 8th Round of the Consular Consultationswherein the two sides discussed variety of issue related to visa,immigration and prisoners.
In the consultation held at Ministry of Foreign Affairs here, DirectorGeneral (China), Ayesha Ali led the Pakistani delegation while the Chineseside was led by Deputy Director-General, Tong Defa, said a Foreign Officestatement.
The consultations were held in a cordial and cooperative atmosphere. Thetwo sides discussed the entire range of consular issues and reiteratedtheir resolve to further extend facilitation in all areas including visaand immigration and consular matters.
The two sides also discussed the prisoner’s issues and implementation oftreaty between China and Pakistan on the Transfer of SentencedPersons signed during the visit of the Prime Minister to China in Novemberlast year.
