SHARJAH – Lahore Qalandars speed star Haris Rauf faces a blow from PCB forviolating the code of conduct.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Friday decided to slap LahoreQalandars’ fast bowler Haris Rauf with a fine worth 10 per cent of hismatch fee over a violation of its code of conduct.
The incident took place during the 10th match of the Pakistan Super League(PSL) wherein Qalandars beat Multan Sultans.
According to the PCB, Rauf had come face-to-face with Multan Sultans DanChristian after the latter was run-out in a manner that was insulting andalso against the game spirit.
The PCB further mentioned that on-field umpires Ranmore Martinesz andShozab Raza as well as third and fourth umpires Rashid Riaz and TariqRasheed, respectively, had charged the bowler for violating Clause 2.1.4 ofthe Code of Conduct.
