ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Foreign Office has responded back to the threat fromthe Indian Army Chief General Bipin Rawat.
When asked about accusations made by the Indian Army Chief that Pakistanand China are behind the influx of people from Bangladesh to India’snortheast, the Foreign Office spokesperson termed them a figment of theIndian Army Chief’s imagination.
He said this was being done to create hysteria against Pakistan.
The spokesperson said tension on the Line of control is a cause of concernfor Pakistan and the international community.
Responding to a question, Faisal said the most viable solution to theAfghan conflict is through a politically negotiated settlement between theAfghan government and the warring factions.
He clarified that Pakistan has not sent troops to Saudi Arabia to becomepart of Islamic military alliance.
