In Syria, at least seventy people were killed and several others injured inan attack by the Daesh fighters on a prison in the northern city of AlHasakah.
In a statement, head of the UK-based war monitor Syrian Observatory forHuman Rights Rami Abdel Rahman said that at least 28 members of the Kurdishsecurity forces, five civilians and 45 members of IS have been killed inthe attack on the Ghuwayran prison.
Meanwhile, Kurdish-dominated Syrian Democratic Forces said that it iscontinuing operations to keep security in Al Hasakah city and the perimeterof the Ghuwayran prison with the help of coalition allies and Kurdishinternal security forces.
