Pakistan’s Babar Azam will lead the national side in the upcoming Testseries against South Africa for the first time.
Interestingly, Babar’s inspirational cricketing journey also startedagainst South Africa as he was the ball picker during the Proteas’ 2007tour of Pakistan.
In a recent interview issued by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Babaropened up his journey, so far, and the sacrifices he had to make inorder toachieve his goals.
Karachi’s historic National Stadium will play host to the firstPakistan-South Africa Test on Pakistani soil in more than 13 years whenplay begins on Tuesday, 26 January. The second Test is in Rawalpindi fromFebruary 4.
