The skipper said that his side is focused on retaining their top spot inthe T20I ranking. “The team is well prepared.”
Mahmudullah said that he is looking forward to play good cricket andputting on a good show. “The rankings might affect the game play but we arenot thinking about those things. We know that Pakistan is a very goodstrong team and they have been very consistent in the T20I format.”
He said that his side is performing well in the T20 format themselves andexpressed his wishes of giving Pakistan a run for their money given the waythey have prepared.
The current Pakistan cricket team might be witnessing one of the worstphases, but their fans still have hope as they have a world-class player inBabar Azam – who has proved his mettle across formats against qualityopponents.
While most of the players have been in and out of the team in the last 12months, Babar has been an exception as a result of his prolific run-scoringspree in all three formats of the game.
Just like most of the other cricketers, Babar too went through a lot ofstruggle before reaching the pinnacle of cricket.
